One of the easiest recipes for a high-class meal. If you like a little sweet flavor with your pork, this is a new Pork Chops and Applesauce with a taste of elegance and southern pride.

Yield: 8 servings
2 - 2.5 pounds Pork Chops (can use pork roast and adjust for weight)
2 Large Cans (or 4 small cans) Sauerkraut
2 Apples (chopped)
2 Large Cans Apple Ale Beer
2 TBSP Brown Sugar
3 tsp Sage
2 tsp Garlic Salt
1 tsp All Spice
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Cinnamon
Place pork in a huge pot or slow cooker.
Dump Sauerkraut over pork
Dump chopped apples
Cover with beer. You want enough beer to cover the pork and leave the other ingredients barely peeping through the top about 1/2 to 1 inch. The important thing is to make sure the pork is covered in worst case scenario, and if you add too much, use a spoon that has slots in it to drain as you serve.
Add brown sugar and seasonings. Stir gently to mix everything-ish.
In a pot on the stove: Bring to a boil. Then reduce heat to medium low, cover and simmer about 2 hours.
In a slow cooker, cook on high for 6 to 8 hours.
Always check to make sure pork is fully cooked (you can use a meat thermometer). You want at least 145 degrees F with a 3 minute rest time.
